This week I ‘av been mostly readin’

A Brief History of Time, by (Prof?) Steven Hawking. The illustrated version appeals more to my tastes and makes the concepts described within it easier to understand. I’d recommend it for those interested in scientific discussion; even if you aren’t necessarily interested in physics the philosophy behind the concepts is very stimulating.

Last week I finished ‘The Unexpected Einstein’. A very interesting biography analysing Einsteins personal side in a reasonably balanced manner, quoting many, many different peoples opinions about him from records, correspondances etc. Definately interesting to find out about the man behind the icon.

This week saw new cartoons of Family Guy, American Dad and The Simpsons and I have to say The Simpsons has pretty much lost it. I laughed my ass off at Seth MacFarlane’s creations, he is truely the king of american cartoons. However, even a new Halloween Special for The Simpsons couldnt really stimulate my funny bone.
And ‘holy freaking sweet’! CSI has a new crossover: http://www.cbs.com/csi_promo/
