When it feels like your head is being beaten with a hammer, the F1 helps take the mind off it

ARGH! My head has been killing me for two days now thanks to my wisdom teeth, at least, I think. It definitely was yesterday since I couldn’t move my head, talk properly or sleep without the pain shifting from my jaws outwards across my face. Today, the jaw pain is tolerable, yet my stomach is killing me!? What the hell?! It feels like someone has stopped with the hammer and just taken a brick to me instead.
12:03pm:
To make the weekend slightly more tolerable the F1 season has started with an entertaining qualifying and race, so far. (It’s only lap 16 at the time of writing). Plenty of overtaking, some drama, pretty close grid, works for me.
12:08pm:
I cant see the rev limited V10s making it into the next race, not with that kind of straight-line speed and money behind them. The Ferrari’s look classically strong again now that proper pit stops are back in, and the Ross:Schumacher duo doing their usual masterful tactics around this. I hope it doesn’t stay that way and turn into the 2004 season all over again.
It seems whilst the Japs are great engineers, they make damn unlucky (or crap) drivers (unless you’re intending to powerslide around some urban roadway in a Civic), having said that; Fisichella seems to constantly get the short end of the stick. He must make him think that the gods at Renault have something in for him, or Alonso does some voodoo chant to take away all his luck.
12:39pm:
18 laps to go and Oh MY GOD! That was close between Schuy and Alonso who almost traded paint as the Renault came out of the pits. Gonna be a good last quarter!
13:02pm:
“A Banzai and taking a couple of wheels off”. HAHA! Nice try Mr. Brundle, but I doubt Mr. Schumacher would be saying Hooray after screwing up his car.
That Cosworth engine looks mighty nice, and well integrated into that Williams. ‘Grat’s to Button and Kimi for good drives, despite Buttons poor luck and it was good to see it was still close all the way to the end. Looks like it’ll be a good season.
