Just read in the paper that the cast is now being paid $45k an episode, with Matthew Fox being given an extra $140-odd-k for being in the “prime role”. The good news is, they’ve just started filming season 3, the bad news is that the pay rise also has the condition that any of them could be killed off at any time. At least we know Jack survives into the start of season 3, but as to whether his $140k is a “fairwell gift” or a “please stay with us in Hawaii”, I don’t know.
